Catherine is dedicated to making your buying or selling experience the best it can possibly be.  She excels at contract negotiation, marketing, and communicating with her clients.  She believes that truly listening to clients and what they want, as well as explaining and setting expectations for each part of the process, are key to a successful and rewarding home buying or selling experience.

Catherine specializes in and around the close-in Maryland suburbs of Washington, DC, especially Silver Spring and Kensington, but she’s able to help you buy or sell a home anywhere in the metropolitan DC area.  She has been a Maryland resident for over twenty years.  She loves the area and is eager to introduce newcomers to all it has to offer.

Catherine has an elite Certified Senior Housing Professional (CSHP) designation, and also specializes in working with seniors and their families.  She not only has great resources for lenders, title companies, inspectors, and contractors, she also has great senior-specific resources such as estate sale companies and senior move managers.  

Catherine has a bachelor’s degree in English from Carleton College, and a master’s degree in Higher Education Administration from Indiana University - Bloomington. When not working with her clients, Catherine enjoys spending time with her husband and three sons. Her hobbies include playing and coaching soccer, reading, gardening, and travel.
